Unfortunately
Unfortunately is a short film about learning how to deal with failure. After getting her first period, an antsy teenager tries to find her new place in the world as a woman. Through abusive friendships with girls, failed relationships with boys, and trying to prove herself to her family, she must learn to admit that it’s okay to make mistakes.
This was my graduation project for the BFA in animation program at Emily Carr University of Art and Design in 2013.
