Lo 100to

When Delia announces a breakup on group chat, she’s bombarded with inappropriate and comic remarks from her Salvadoran family.

In 2021, I was part of the 6 filmmakers chosen to be part of the National Film Board of Canada’s Hothouse program. Over the course of four months, I worked with the fantastic team at the NFB to bring my project Lo 100to (read: Lo- cien-to) to life. This project is a combination of mixed media: I built a physical set, photographed it, and composited 2D animation on top.
